A beach on Table Bay north of Cape Town, looking across the water to Table Mountain. The summer south-easter, locally called the Cape Doctor, often blows above 25 knots over Atlantic swell, which makes this a spot for confident wave and big-air riders. The water is cold, often 12-16 °C, and Cape Town's airport is about 30 minutes away.
Bloubergstrand is a kitesurfing spot in Western Cape, South Africa. The usual season is Nov–Mar; outside it, good days are rarer.
