A long white-sand beach south of Mombasa, protected by a reef, with two wind seasons: the north-east Kaskazi from December to March and the stronger south-east Kusi from June to September. The tide changes the depth of the lagoon through the day, so sessions are planned around mid to high tide. Mombasa's airport is about 1.5 hours away, including the Likoni ferry.
